My historian BFF and I are planning on writing a human AU fanfic and possibly a thesis comparing all the bad guys to various horrible shit the British Empire and other colonisers did. Also the slaver characters invariably get killed by their victims - one gets stoned to death by enslaved young children, another gets strangled with his own whip... It ain't subtle.
