It’s actually funny with a protag who acts relatably and has funny commentary about how things are going with a lot of meta jokes. At the same time it goes pretty deep like for example, she saves the life of Donnel’s father by having them come to the village earlier, then choosing not to recruit Donny because she realizes he’s still a kid and should get to live a normal life. She also has been trying to find alternate ways of saving Emmeryn without the canon Emm throwing herself off, warning Chrom of the fact Emm chooses that. The Robin (a coincidence of a name) actually does angst about the fact she might never go home and see her friends and family, while also feeling guilt about replacing the actual Robin and feeling like she killed her
